‘FITTEST IN CAPE TOWN’ ACTIVATION

The opportunity:
Solidify Reebok’s status as the ultimate CrossFit partner.

Fittest in Cape Town is an annual Crossfit event pitting the best individuals, and teams, against one another for the title of Fittest in South Africa.

The insight:
Reebok is already well established in this space. We just needed to back it up.

Reebok is already on everyone’s lips within the Crossfit community. So we decided to use FiCT as an opportunity to show these top-tier athletes that they don’t need any other brand.

The idea:
Never Settle

The theme of our activation was “Never Settle”, and we brought this to life with an on-site retail space where competitors and spectators could learn more about, and buy, the latest Crossfit tech from Reebok. On top of this we had full film crew to capture the entire event as it happened so that the rest of SA could keep up with the action live via our Facebook page.

The execution:
All the guts. All the glory.

Not only did our Reebok retail space have record sales from participants and spectators, our Facebook page became the go to source for keeping up with all the event action, live.

The result:
A partnership cast in stone.

Our activation not only cemented Reebok’s status as Crossfit kings but we grew our social following and signed more of SA’s top athletes as Reebok ambassadors.
